Location:

In the political realm, many assume that Christian social teaching on economic subjects somehow favours left-wing policies. The recently published Catholic Social Teaching and the Market Economy challenges these assumptions, arguing that Christianity supports a high degree of economic freedom and stresses limits to government economic intervention.
Dr Sam Gregg is Director of Research at the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty. He is a contributor to Catholic Social Teaching and the Market Economy, available in August from Connor Court Publishing.
