At the Institute of Public Affairs technology forum, Matt Bai from the New York Times Magazine will be speaking on developments in political campaigns and high technology.

At the lunch Matt will explore the new frontiers of political campaigning and grassroots activism online. How do candidates appeal to younger tech-savvy voters? And what do voters expect from their candidates?

Matt Bai writes on national politics for the New York Times Magazine, where he is currently covering the 2008 presidential campaign. His book on Democratic politics, The Argument: Billionaires, Bloggers, and the Battle to Remake Democratic Politics, was published by Penguin Press and attracted significant media attention including NPR's Talk of the Nation, On Point, ABC-TV's This Week with George Stephanopolous, the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, and the New York Times Book Review.
