The gradual removal of property rights in Western Australia by excessive regulation will have extremely harmful effects on the economy. Reshaping the Landscape details how the Western Australian government is eroding property rights in the crucial fields of farming, housing, and mining. The report recommends the adoption of a legal system which protects property rights based on four principles: compensation, consistency, openness and a right of appeal.
